What a beauty! More than anything else, I ask myself why did I wait so long? And… what can I get next?! Sword of the Father? The Northman? A wakizashi & tanto, to go with my hand forged katana? Perhaps a claymore… as a proud Scot, it really should be that, or else a pair of Viking axes. Whatever I choose, it will have to go some to beat this beast. Beautifully crafted, it is a stunning display piece, that is damned heavy - and I’m a big lad and have handled swords most of my life! It’s a beast and no mistake. But it’s a BEAUTIFUL beast and therein lies the difference. I am stoked and so proud, so happy that I finally have the Atlantean, to begin my sword wall, soon to be joined by its brother, the other mentioned blades and a rather gorgeous pair of commissioned hand forged Kroenen side-handled “baton swords” (Hellboy). I will be keeping Sword Stall busy for some time to come! Reliable, superfast and excellent all round service - the best blades outlet I have dealt with to date, in the U.K. (and I believe I have dealt with all of them, by now). Many thanks, guys! You made a geeky old swordsman very happy! WHAT a beauty!
Really amazing replica of Conan’s Atlantean sword, unfortunately while hanging the sword onto my wall, I had a couple of issues, the screws provided to hold the brass pegs in place were too short and I had to buy lengthier screws in order to make sure they went through the wooden plaque and the brass pegs, additionally one of the brass pegs was a bit chewed up at the entry point which meant that obtaining lengthier screws was imperative. The second issue which was a lot harder to detect because of its location, I eventually noticed this when I happened to catch my finger on a ragged piece of metal on the hilt, which is now highly noticeable for me and a little irritating that the sword was sent out to me in this condition, however aside from these inconveniences, once I had fitted the plaque to the wall and attached the sword to hang on the pegs, I would say that I am happy with the sword overall.
An absolute beautiful piece. Definitely a classic I've been wanting for years. Very heavy and comes with a plaque to hang and fast delivery.
