Merry in Balin's tomb, short sword up and a Cave Troll on the way. Brave, for a hobbit.

Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck, Frodo's cousin and Pippin's closest friend, is considered the keenest and most intelligent of hobbits: a lover of boats, ponies and maps, and one of the nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring.

In The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), cornered in Balin's tomb in the Mines of Moria as Orcs and a Cave Troll approach, he wields his short sword, ready for combat. The statue has Dominic Monaghan's likeness and his knee-length shorts, shirt, waistcoat, jacket and cloak.

BDS Art Scale 1:10 by Iron Studios, part of a diorama with the other members of the Fellowship, the Orcs and the Cave Troll.
