Few weapons from Middle-earth are quite as instantly recognisable as Sting, the Elven blade carried by Bilbo Baggins on his journey with Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves.

Originally discovered by Bilbo, Gandalf and Thorin in a Troll-hoard, Sting was forged by the High Elves of Gondolin in the First Age. To an Elf or a Man it may have been little more than a dagger, but in the hands of a Hobbit, it made a rather excellent sword.

And at 51cm overall, this compact replica is a brilliant way to add Sting to a collection without surrendering half the wall to it.

The design captures that unmistakable Elven silhouette, with an elegantly shaped silver-coloured hilt flowing into the distinctive blade. Ornate detailing surrounds the ricasso, while the dark central blade decoration and sweeping gold-coloured motifs give this version a particularly striking fantasy appearance.

It's immediately recognisable as Sting, but with its own slightly more decorative interpretation of the famous weapon.
