LAST ONE! Speed Racer – Mach 5 Chogokin Diecast Model | Bandai Tamashii Nations

🏁 Speed Racer – Mach 5 Chogokin Diecast Model | Bandai Tamashii Nations

Seven buttons on the steering wheel. Zero speed cameras.

The Mach 5 from Speed Racer (Mach GoGoGo in Japan), the 1967 anime that put Speed, Trixie, Chim-Chim and Racer X on TV screens around the world. Pops Racer built it, and every one of the seven buttons on the steering wheel does something ridiculous. Bandai's Chogokin line has packed all seven special functions into one diecast model, with Speed Racer and Trixie sat in the cockpit.

It's made from diecast, ABS and PVC, about 27 cm long, roughly 1:18 scale. The jacks pop out of the underside, saw blades fold out from under the body and tuck fully away, Gizmo the bird robot comes out of the bonnet hatch, the rear hatch opens to show the Frogger periscope, and the headlights light up for the Evening Eye. It comes with a display base engraved with the Mach GoGoGo logo and a display case.
