Description

Mainstay of the Highland warriors during the late 15th and 16th centuries, the Claymore sword had a uniquely styled hilt, which set it apart from other great swords of the period. Classic in its design, with distinctive sloping quillons terminating in quatrefoils and a high-collared quillon block with langets following the blade fuller. The Kingston Arms version of the Scottish Claymore is a refined and faithful reproduction of this iconic sword. Unlike some reproductions that can be bulky and out of balance, this version maintains the historical elegance and functionality of the original. The slim grip of the Claymore is leather-covered.
