Jurassic Park – Triceratops Eye Prop Reproduction

The sick Triceratops' eyes, recreated from the original paint masters. It did look rough that day, to be fair.

From Steven Spielberg's Academy Award-winning sci-fi film Jurassic Park comes a Triceratops prop eye reproduction. In one of the film's best-known scenes, John Hammond, Dr Alan Grant and Dr Ellie Sattler come across a sick Triceratops during their tour of the island.

The original Triceratops prop eyes were made for the life-size animatronic Sick Triceratops, and the eyes used in the film were designed and sculpted by Rob Hinderstein of Stan Winston Studio.

Elite Creature Collectibles presents this reproduction as the newest movie prop reproduction from the Jurassic Park franchise. Made using the original paint masters, step-by-step guidance from Rob Hinderstein and hands-on access to the original eyeball and core prop, every detail has been recreated by ECC key artist Oskar Ankarudd and ILM artist Bitan, using full-colour 3D-printing technology, for a highly accurate reproduction of the original screen-used Triceratops eyes.
