Store owner replied: Hi Martin, we're sorry you didn't notice that the items titled ".45 Cal Revolver Bullet, USA 1880 (Pack of 6)" with a description that includes "Inspired by late 19th-century ammunition, these replicas reflect the era of the Colt Single Action Army and the rise of the Old West." would not be the right dummy rounds for the replica of a semi-automatic pistol titled "M1911A1 Colt "Government" Us Service Pistol" that makes no mention in it's description of calibre or the availability of dummy rounds. We make a great effort to include all relevant information in product listings so we will review this as a matter of course. We would happily have answered the question for you if you had contacted us on any of the 8 different customer service channels that we make available for that very thing but I can't see any history of that query on our system. It is not within our team's remit to have knowledge of what replicas or displays you already own and may be purchasing dummy rounds for. I feel that if we were to telephone a customer having made the assumption that they have made such an incredibly obvious mistake that we would be accused of thinking our customers were stupid. In the same way that we don't assume a customer purchasing a katana cleaning kit and a Stranger Things cushion in the same order (a real order from today as an example) are expecting to keep their cushion shining brightly, it would not be appropriate for us to assume you haven't read any of the available information for your purchase. Similarly, you have the same right to return online purchases within 14 days for a full refund as everyone else in the country purchasing online. This is legally required and is clearly listed on our website. I cannot find any contact from you requesting a return so I'm not sure that counts as us wasting your £12. We make every reasonable effort to provide you with the information you require to make a purchase and answer any questions you may have.
