"Warrior's Demise" 1060 Clay Tempered Katana
Add a legendary blade to your collection with the "Warrior's Demise" 1060 Clay Tempered Katana.
Featuring a genuine clay-tempered hamon, authentic stingray skin handle wrapping and a beautifully crafted blade, this premium katana is an exceptional addition to any serious sword collection.
Complete with a wooden presentation box, cleaning kit, display stand and protective sleeve, Warrior's Demise is as impressive to display as it is to admire.
The blade is crafted from folded 1060 high carbon steel, using repeated heating, hammering and folding to create a distinctive layered construction inspired by traditional Japanese forging methods.
The sword then undergoes differential clay tempering, where clay is applied before quenching. This creates a harder cutting edge while allowing the spine to retain greater toughness.
The process also produces a genuine hamon (temper line) โ a beautiful hallmark of traditional Japanese sword-making.
Unlike many modern katanas, Warrior's Demise features no bo-hi (blade groove), giving it a clean, uninterrupted blade profile.
The wooden tsuka (handle) is covered in genuine stingray skin (samegawa) before being finished with traditional cotton wrapping (tsukamaki), creating a classic samurai aesthetic.
The elegant black hardwood saya (scabbard) features a cotton sageo cord, while the zinc alloy tsuba (guard) and fittings complete the sword's traditional appearance.
Combining the artistry of folded steel with the precision of traditional clay tempering, Warrior's Demise celebrates the craftsmanship and heritage of the Japanese katana.
With its genuine hamon, premium fittings and complete presentation set, this is a fantastic choice for collectors seeking something beyond an ordinary decorative sword.
Price includes katana, scabbard, wooden presentation box, black sleeve, cleaning kit and display stand.
Please note: This is a high carbon steel collector's sword intended for responsible adult ownership.
