Description
M1911A1 Colt "Government" Us Service Pistol (Black/Wood))
Gear up for your next convention with the M1911A1 Colt "Government" Us Service Pistol (Black/Wood)).
Reproduction of a pistol, made of metal and wooden grips, with simulated mechanism of loading and firing, functional safety buttons, detachable barrel and removable magazine.
The M1911 is a robust, reliable, simple-action semi-automatic pistol operated by direct recoil and powered by 7-caliber .45 cartridge die stacker. It was designed for the military use by John M. Browning, who also designed the appropriate cartridge for the weapon, the .45 ACP.
On March 29, 1911, it was officially accepted as a statutory weapon of the US Armed Forces, initially receiving the designation of the .45, M1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Subsequently from 1924, its designation changed to Pistol Auto Caliber .45, M1911A1. In total, the army acquired about 2.7 million pistols during its service life.
It had widespread use in World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. It remained in service continuously in the American army until 1985, when it was replaced by the Beretta gun. Some variants are still in production, and given their popularity, they are still active in some units of the Special Forces, Navy forces and Marine Corps.
The item is a replica weapon. It is designed to resemble in shape, size, weight and basic functionality the firearm it represents. It has basic working parts and/or removable parts and is a genuine Europe made item. The replica comes in its factory card box.

The weight and feel of the piece is almost like the real thing. Almost strips like the real one as well.
Safety dosen work but otherwise a great addition to my collection
Quick delivery from when they said it would be arriving. Feels and handles like the real thing! I find myself just fidgeting with the hammer and clip more than I care to admit. It'll be taking pride of place on one of my walls once I find a place for it!
Bought for my son for Christmas. He's 20 now and doesn't get excited about presents anymore but he loves this! Bought for display but he loved that it had moving parts too.
Delivered in good time. The team worked hard to complete this order. It will display very well in the museum setting.
Great website site, easy to navigate, simple order process & great communication, highly recommended 👍.
Absolutely love it.
Looks and feels like a real colt!
Great piece...nicely detailed. Looks good with my collection of military objects. Have since purchased three more.
Great item, fantastic service.
goreat copy of the real thing looks and feel just like a m1911a1 pistol great service and good price
The 1911 arrived and is a really nice model, very happy for the money, but.. it didn’t have a magazine in the box, so I contacted Skippy he said no problem, asked the model type and said he would ship one out, a week later a package arrived, I opened it to find a moderator for another gun!! Skippy is sending me another magazine so watch this space. I’m a little disappointed that the gun wasn’t checked before dispatch, and the mistake of a wrong replacement part, it is dragging on now…
