Description
Cold Steel Black Bear Classic Fixed Blade Knife
Add a legendary blade to your collection with the Cold Steel Black Bear Classic Fixed Blade Knife.
The Cold Steel Black Bear Classic pays tribute to one of the most influential knife designs ever created. Originally developed by legendary knifemaker Bob Loveless, a founding member of the Knifemakers' Guild, the sub-hilt hunting knife has become a benchmark in modern knife making. Cold Steel's interpretation combines this timeless design with premium materials and exceptional craftsmanship to create a knife worthy of the original.
At its heart is an impressive 8.25-inch blade forged from VG-10 San Mai III® laminated stainless steel, delivering exceptional edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. The double-ground blade is expertly heat treated before receiving a refined satin finish, with both cutting edges precision honed to achieve outstanding sharpness and cutting performance.
The defining feature of the Black Bear Classic is its sub-hilt handle design, which provides superior hand security and exceptional control during demanding cutting tasks. The beautifully finished black G-10 handle scales are individually hand-shaped, contoured and secured with six stainless steel pins, offering outstanding durability while showcasing the knife's premium craftsmanship.
Supplied with a durable sheath for safe storage and transport, the Cold Steel Black Bear Classic is a stunning combination of classic knife-making heritage, modern materials and uncompromising performance—an outstanding addition to any serious knife collection.
