Kingston Arms Small Stainless Buckler / Boss
Add a show-stopping replica to your collection with the Kingston Arms Small Stainless Buckler / Boss.
The combination of the sword and buckler was extensively used during the Middle Ages. Typically, bucklers are small hand shields that are held by a fist-grip and are light and fast. HEMA practitioners studying the sword and buckler will find this small shield perfect for paired drills and practicing grappling techniques. The light weight keeps fatigue at bay during long training days. The dome is large enough to accomodate most light / medium duty sparring gloves. For those wishing to build their own medieval shield the domed shape and size of the buckler also lend it to use as a boss for many different shield styles.
This shield is inspired by medieval sword and buckler style combat, created for collectors with an appreciation for sword craftsmanship.
Made from stainless steel, it combines authentic construction with display-quality presentation.
