Thor in New York, Mjölnir in hand, about to use the Chrysler Building as a lightning rod.

Thor, the Asgardian God of Thunder, joined the Avengers under Captain America's lead to stop his foster brother Loki and the Chitauri army that poured through a wormhole over New York.

The statue shows Thor in his new battle armour, wielding Mjölnir, as he joins the other Avengers on the battlefield. In the film he flew to the top of the Chrysler Building, used it to charge Mjölnir with lightning and released it into the portal, destroying a large part of Loki's army.

It is one of six statues of the original Avengers in Iron Studios' limited-edition Avengers Battle of NY set, which together form a diorama of their first battle as a team in The Avengers (2012). Part of The Infinity Saga line, BDS Art Scale 1:10.
