Eddie bursting out of a dead tree under the moon. Fear of the Dark, indeed.

Eddie the Head is the mascot of British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, a fixture on their album covers, singles and stage shows ever since he began as a papier-mâché mask on the band's early stage backdrops.

In his Fear of the Dark form, a Nosferatu-like creature of vegetation with fiery red eyes and sharp teeth emerges from a sinister dead tree, with branch-like arms and root-like feet, on a stone brick base. Hand-painted, in Iron Studios' Art Scale 1:10.
