🟡 Ready to Customise Katana – Yellow – Cosplay Safe Wooden Sword
Your katana. Your rules.
Sometimes you don't want somebody else's sword.
You want to make your own.
Our Ready to Customise Katana has been deliberately kept simple, lightweight and affordable, giving younger collectors, cosplayers and creative types a fantastic blank canvas for creating a sword that's completely their own.
This Yellow Edition features a bright yellow wooden saya decorated with black Japanese-inspired artwork, paired with a traditional-looking black handle wrap with white diamond detailing. At 102cm overall, it has the presence and proportions of a full-sized katana, but with a lightweight bamboo training blade rather than steel.
And that's where the fun starts.
Paint it. Add decals. Weather it. Wrap it. Cover it in symbols. Turn it into your own original creation or customise it to complement a cosplay. Because you're starting with an inexpensive wooden sword rather than one of our hand-forged blades, you can actually experiment without the terrifying feeling that you've just ruined something expensive.
✨ Why it's brilliant for customising:
🎨 Ready for your imagination — a great starting point for painting, decorating and modifying
🟡 Bright yellow saya with contrasting black Japanese-inspired artwork
⚔️ Full-size 102cm overall length for impressive cosplay and display presence
🎋 Bamboo training blade rather than a steel sword
🖤 Traditional-style black and white handle design gives you a great base to build upon
🪶 Lightweight at approximately 430g, making it considerably easier to carry than a steel katana
📏 26cm handle with full-sized proportions
👦 A great option for younger collectors who aren't ready for one of our metal swords
🎭 Ideal for cosplay, costumes, photography and display
⚠️ A quick but important distinction
Although there's no steel blade, it's still a rigid wooden/bamboo sword and isn't designed for striking people or weapon-to-weapon combat. Cosplay event rules also vary, so always check with the organiser before taking any prop weapon along.
Otherwise, consider it your blank canvas.
Yellow today. Absolutely covered in paint, symbols and questionable artistic decisions tomorrow.
That's rather the point.
