Collection: Fantasy Swords - Replica Blades from Film, TV and Games

H1 Fantasy Swords UK - Replica Blades from Film, TV and Games

Some swords exist only in fiction and that is exactly what makes them worth owning. The Master Sword has appeared in every mainline Zelda game since 1991. Anduril was forged from the shards of a blade broken three thousand years before Aragorn ever picked it up. The Chaos Blades were forged in the depths of the underworld and chained to Kratos's arms as the price of his soul. These are not just weapons - they are the physical expression of the stories they come from.

Our fantasy sword collection covers the full breadth of what that means: legendary blades from the Lord of the Rings and Rings of Power universes, iconic gaming weapons from Zelda, Final Fantasy and God of War, TV weapons from Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon and The Walking Dead, and cult classics from Thundercats and beyond. All are blunt ornamental replicas built for display and collecting. All are UK stock, dispatched from our warehouse in Bacup, Lancashire.

What makes a fantasy sword collectible?

Fantasy swords occupy a specific space in collecting. Unlike historical replicas, where the value comes from accuracy to a real object, a fantasy sword's value comes from fidelity to a fictional design - how closely the replica captures what you see on screen or in a game, and how well it holds up as an object in its own right once it is in your hands.

The best fantasy sword replicas do both. They are recognisable to anyone who knows the source material, and they are also genuinely interesting objects - well-proportioned, well-finished, with the kind of detail that rewards close inspection. Our fantasy sword range spans several distinct categories.

Middle-earth - Lord of the Rings, Rings of Power and The Hobbit

Middle-earth has produced more collectible replica swords than almost any other single fictional universe, and the reason is straightforward: Tolkien spent forty years building a world with real history, real languages and real mythology behind every object in it.

Anduril Reforged from the shards of Narsil - the blade that cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand - it is the sword Aragorn carries when he finally steps into his role as king. The Elvish runes along the blade read the Quenya inscription that makes this one of the most recognisable blades in cinema history. Browse all Anduril variants and our full LOTR collection.

Glamdring Belonged to Gandalf and was found in a troll's hoard during The Hobbit. Forged in Gondolin in the First Age, it predates almost every other named sword in Tolkien's mythology. Browse Glamdring alongside Sting and Legolas's twin daggers in our full LOTR collection.

Galadriel's Dagger - Rings of Power From the Second Age setting of The Rings of Power - a different visual language from the Third Age pieces, more raw and ancient in design. Sits alongside the film trilogy pieces for collectors covering the full Middle-earth timeline.

Gaming swords - Zelda, Final Fantasy, God of War

The Master Sword The Blade of Evil's Bane - the only weapon capable of defeating Ganon because it was made specifically for that purpose. Our Master Sword replicas span multiple variant designs across different Zelda games, from Ocarina of Time through to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

The Buster Sword Cloud Strife's weapon from Final Fantasy VII - absurdly oversized by realistic standards, perfectly proportioned by the logic of the game world. One of the most recognisable silhouettes in gaming. Browse our Final Fantasy swords collection for all Buster Sword variants including the Multiblade and the FF7 Remake version.

The Chaos Blades - God of War The twin blades of Kratos from the God of War series - forged in the depths of the underworld and chained to his arms after he sold his soul to Ares. 420 stainless steel, 54cm, includes wall plaque. Unlike anything else in the range. Also available in cosplay-safe foam for event use. Browse our God of War and gaming swords collection for the Leviathan Axe alongside the Chaos Blades.

TV and film swords - Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Thundercats

Longclaw Jon Snow's Valyrian steel bastard sword, gifted by Jeor Mormont of the Night's Watch. The wolf-head pommel was added when Jon received it - replacing the original bear-head to mark the transfer from House Mormont to House Stark. One of the most recognisable swords from Game of Thrones. Browse our full Game of Thrones swords collection for Ice, Robb Stark's sword, Arya's blade and Dark Sister.

The Sword of Omens - Thundercats In its full extended form it carries the Eye of Thundera in the crossguard, glowing with the power that gives Lion-O enhanced sight and the ability to summon the other ThunderCats. Full metal construction with wall display presence. Pair it with the Sword of Omens Dagger for a complete Thundera display. Browse the full Thundercats collection.

Michonne's Katana - The Walking Dead A real katana used in a fictional setting and one of the most iconic TV weapons of the last decade. Our Michonne handforged katana is made using traditional techniques - a different level of craftsmanship from the display replicas in the rest of this collection. Includes scabbard and display stand.

What to consider when buying a fantasy sword replica

Material. Most metal fantasy sword replicas use either stainless steel or carbon steel. Stainless steel requires less maintenance and holds a finish well in display conditions. Carbon steel has a slightly warmer, less reflective surface and is used in higher-end replicas.

Display. Most fantasy swords come without a stand - check individual listings for what is included. A horizontal wall mount suits most straight-bladed swords. A vertical floor stand works well for longer pieces like the Master Sword or Buster Sword.

Scale. Fantasy swords are often significantly longer than their historical equivalents. The Buster Sword at 150cm is a case in point. Check dimensions carefully before ordering.

Fantasy Swords - Replica Blades from Film, TV and Games FAQs

What is a fantasy sword?

A fantasy sword is a replica of a fictional blade from a film, television series, video game, book or other creative work. Our collection includes replicas from Lord of the Rings, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Game of Thrones, God of War, Thundercats and many others.

Are fantasy sword replicas legal in the UK?

Yes. Blunt ornamental replica swords are legal to own privately in the UK. The legal restrictions on curved swords over 50cm apply to certain blade types and do not affect the majority of fantasy sword replicas in our collection. All our swords are blunt and intended for display only. Buyers must be 18 or over.

What is the difference between a display sword and a cosplay sword?

A display sword is a metal replica intended for ornamental purposes - to be mounted on a wall or placed on a stand. A cosplay sword is typically made from foam or rubber and designed for wearing at conventions. We stock both. If buying for a convention, check the event's weapon policy and use our cosplay-safe foam replicas rather than metal display pieces.

Which fantasy sword should I start a collection with?

For Lord of the Rings collectors, Anduril is the natural starting point. For gaming collectors, the Master Sword is the most iconic single piece. For anime, the Demon Slayer Nichirin blades are among our strongest sellers. For TV, Longclaw from Game of Thrones is the standout.

Do fantasy swords come with display stands?

It varies by product. Some pieces include a stand or plaque. Check individual product listings. We also stock a range of sword stands and display accessories separately.
