Chewbacca has escaped Cloud City. Han is gone, the Empire is behind him, and C-3PO is currently travelling as hand luggage. It is one of the great friendships in Star Wars, presented here with all the panic, loyalty and uncomfortable droid components intact.

Sideshow's quarter-scale composition recreates the escape from The Empire Strikes Back: Chewie charges forward with an E-11 blaster while the partly rebuilt protocol droid rides in a soft fabric net across his back. Layered sculpted fur, the bandolier and satchel give the Wookiee enormous presence, while C-3PO's chrome-like gold finish, scuffs and illuminated eyes catch the light beautifully.

Why pre-order? (Everyone does. It's just how this works.)

Large Sideshow pieces are made against limited allocations. By the time the finished statue starts appearing in collectors' photos, the sensible-price queue is usually closed.

This one's expected at the end of July 2027. You will forget you ordered it. Then Chewie arrives carrying a dismantled droid and the day improves dramatically.

Pre-order. Forget about it. Be delighted with yourself down the line.
