The item is a replica weapon. It is designed to resemble in shape, size, weight and basic functionality the firearm it represents. Whilst this replica can be cocked and ‘dry fired’, it cannot fire, nor can it be altered to fire live rounds. Very pleased with replica SMLE rifle. It makes a great addition to my collection. Fitted an original sling given to me by my Grandfather which he had as a soldier in WW1, this was fitted to a wooden rifle he made me. He also had his bayonet which disappeared after he died. Pity a bayonet is not available to fit this rifle along with dummy ammunition. All in all a great buy and value for money.
I have bought three weapons so far, the two i have received are really great and i am pleased, just waiting for the third to arrive soon.

My SMLE arrived today its a stunning model of the 303 Lee Enfield The wooden furniture is perfect , it will look absolutely fantastic in my mancave hanging with the SLR.

Safety catch, rear sight, butt trap and magazine follower are fixed and non operable. Bolt works and cocks which trigger releases and magazine is detachable. Weight feels right and appearance looks good. The smell of the gun oil on the bolt added atmosphere! All in all a good item.
