The Hanwei Sword of Saint Maurice is a breathtaking recreation of one of Europe's most revered medieval swords. Based on the historic weapon preserved in Vienna and dating from the late 11th to early 12th century, this magnificent single-handed sword is closely associated with the coronation traditions of the Holy Roman Empire and the legendary legacy of Saint Maurice.

Faithfully crafted by Hanwei, this collectible reproduction recreates what historians believe to be the sword's earlier appearance, omitting later modifications to the original hilt. The elegant pommel bears the majestic Imperial Eagle on one side and the personal arms of Emperor Otto IV (1198–1218) on the other, while the crossguard is engraved with the historic Latin inscription:

"CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS REGNAT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT."

Forged from 1566 carbon steel, the long, slender 37.25-inch blade reflects the graceful profile of the High Middle Ages. A leather-wrapped grip provides a secure hold, while the included solid wood core scabbard, wrapped in leather, completes this exceptional historical reproduction.
